Rawatpura Sarkar Gaushala, established in the year 1991, is a large cow shelter dedicated to the care and maintenance of indigenous (desi) cows. Its primary objective is to provide a safe haven for stray cows. We also promote cow welfare awareness and traditional practices like organic farming using cow products.

For the health of the cows, they are first bathed daily and kept in open grounds throughout the day, which helps maintain their well-being. Additionally, organic animal feed and green fodder are used for their diet. Regular health check-ups are conducted by veterinarians, and all necessary supplements are provided to ensure their overall health and care.

In today’s time, most cattle feed products available in the market lack purity and nutritional value. Currently, cows are often fed non-nutritious grains in the name of cattle feed. In response to this issue, Rawatpura Sarkar Gaushala produces organic cattle feed. This feed is prepared by mixing barley flour, cottonseed cake (binola khal), chickpea husk (chana chuni), and other essential supplements in proper proportions. This specially formulated feed is highly beneficial for the health and well-being of the cows.

All products of Rawatpura Sarkar Gaushala are made using completely pure and sattvic (holistic and traditional) methods. For example, the pure cow ghee is produced by processing the milk of the cows raised in the Gaushala itself. Similarly, Gau Ark (distilled cow urine) is prepared using the first urine collected in the morning through the distillation process. All other products are also made with the utmost purity, using ancient traditional methods by rural women.
